Where is Archive in Microsoft Outlook 2010?
- It is much easier to find Archive in Outlook 2010 if you are using Classic Menu for Office
- If you have not Classic Menu for Office (Method: On File tab)
Most people find it hard to find the Archive button in Microsoft Outlook 2010, for the new ribbon is so different from the old style interface of Outlook 2003. Is there any easy way to find Archive in Outlook 2010? Provided below will give you methods to find Archive whether Classic Menu software installed or not.
If you are using Classic Menu for Office...
With classic menu style interface, on Menus tab, click File menu and it will bring up the File drop-down menu, from which you can easily see Archive... below Import & Export command.

Click Archive, there appears Archive window, where you can selet the items to an archive folder, and you can also see the path of the archive file. Note that the Outlook data will be archved into pst files in the archive folder.

If you are not using Classic Menu for Office...
In Microsoft Outlook 2010, you might not see the Archive command intuitively in the ribbon and need to find it on the left sidebar. On the File tab, select Info , click Cleanup Tools option and from the drop-down menu you can easily see the Archive command at the bottom. Click Archive..., the Archive window appears so that you can move the unneccessary or old items to other folder list.
