Where is Clipboard in Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 365?

Where is Clipboard in Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 365

There are two methods to find out Clipboard in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 365. Here we will introduce both methods with taking Microsoft Word 2010 for Example:

How to Bring Back Classic Menus and Toolbars to Office 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 365?

Method A: If you have installed Classic Menu for Office

This method is same as that you did in Microsoft Word 2003 at one time:

  • Click the Menus tab;
  • Click the Edit drop down menu;
  • Then you will view the Office Clipboard… item. See Figure 1.

Click the Office Clipboard… item, and you will see the Clipboard pane is added at left side. See Figure 2:

Although Publisher 2007 keeps classic view without Classic Menu for Office, you can also follow the same way to get Clipboard in Microsoft Publisher 2007's classic view.


Method B: If you do not installed Classic Menu for Office
  • Click the Home tab;
  • Go to Clipboard group at the far left of Ribbon;
  • There is a small arrow at the lower right corner in Clipboard group, see Figure 3;
  • Click this arrow, and the clipboard will come out at left side of workspace.

You can follow completely same methods to get Clipboard in Microsoft Excel and Access 2007/2010/2013/2016/2019 and Publisher 2010/2013.

Where is Clipboard in PowerPoint 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 365?

In fact you can follow the completely same ways we introduced in Microsoft Word 2010 to get the Clipboard in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013. Here is another way to get Clipboard in PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013:

If you have installed Classic Menu for Office, the third way is Menus tab > View Menu > Office Clipboard. See Figure 4:

Where is Clipboard in Microsoft Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 365?

If you are in the Message window of Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010/2013, you can also get Clipboard easily:


Method A: If you have installed Classic Menu for Office
  • Click the Menus tab;
  • Click the Edit drop down menu;
  • Then you will view the Office Clipboard… item. Click this item you will get the Clipboard at left side of workspace.

Method B: If you do not installed Classic Menu for Office
  • Click the Message tab;
  • Go to Clipboard group at the far left of Ribbon;
  • There is a small arrow at the lower right corner in Clipboard group, see figure 5;
  • Click this arrow, and the clipboard will come out at left side of workspace.

Where is Clipboard in OneNote, Project, and Visio 2010 and 2013

Although we can find the clipboard group under Home tab in Microsoft OneNote, Project, and Visio 2010 and 2013, it is not possible to get clipboard in these Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016/2019 applications.
